NOTICE INVITING TENDERS Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Fursatganj Airfield, Raebareli (U.P) (IGRUA), is a premier flying training institution under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. IGRUA desires to hire one Bus for a period of one year, extendable for subsequent period(s) on need-cum-performance basis, for commuting its employees and school going children for approximately 2500 – 3000 KMs in a month. Sealed Tenders are invited from Bus Operators/Owners, fulfilling the following criterion:- Ø      The bus should be at least 52 Seater Ø     It should be in very good condition and should be roadworthy as per Motor Vehicles Act. Ø      It should have requisite documents for the lawful operation on road. Ø      The bus should have comprehensive Insurance Cover for crew & passengers. Ø      Preference to be given to latest model bus (2005 and above) with good interiors. The following are the services to be provided under the contract:- i. You will have to provide one driver and one conductor round the clock ii. You will have to bear the cost of fuel and maintenance of the vehicle iii. It would be your responsibility to keep the vehicle roadworthy as per Motor Vehicles Act. iv. You will bear the expenses on Road Tax, Insurance cover, and/or any other expenses for the operation of the vehicle. v. You will have to make alternative arrangement for commuting the passengers in the event of breakdown of the vehicle You are requested to send your competitive rates alongwith other Terms & Conditions, addressed to the Manager Store & Purchase, IGRUA, Fursatganj Airport, Raebareli (U.P) – 229 302 in a sealed envelope superscribing thereon : “Tender for Hiring of Bus” (Tender No. SP/GS/BUSHIRE/2010-11/20 Due for Opening on 14^th July, 2010) The following documents are also required to be submitted alongwith your quotation:- 1.     Proof of Registration of Bus, Insurance, Road Tax Permit, etc. 2.     Proof of PAN Number 3.
