Selection Procedure
To secure wider spectrum of talented students across the country, a stringent selection process is followed which involves:
- A Written Entrance Examination at various centres all over India
- Pilot Aptitude Test ,
- the interview by an interview board
comprising of representatives from industry bigwigs like NACIL, DGCA, Psychologist and IGRUA examiners. The selection of candidates for Ab-initio (PPL) to CPL Course is done as per merit compiled after Written Test, Pilot Aptitude Test and the Interview. A portion of total Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories of candidates as per GOI guidelines:

The successful candidates in Written Examination undergo Pilot Aptitude Test and Interview. A merit list is prepared for different categories of candidates as per GOI guidelines and the shortlisted candidates are issued Instructions to join in batches for effective utilization of our resources

at major cities covering all Indian States and Union
Territories subject to availability of sufficient candidates at respective centres.

Medical
Class I Medical Certificate is required before joining the course so that the students are in a position to start flying without further delay. The list of authorized Class I Medical Examination Centres is available at DGCA website

B.Sc. (Aviation)
Candidates can opt for B.Sc (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur which shall be conducted simultaneously with CPL course subject to completion of the prescribed syllabus on aviation subjects, flying and project work. Duration of this course will be 03 years.
