Ground Training

Approved Courses offered to students to avail benefits / subsidy by banks

The training at IGRUA is carried out in about 3 years for Ab-initio to CPL Courses. During the first 5 - 6 months, the trainees are with Ground Training Department (GTD), where they are taught and exposed to subjects like Air Navigation, Avionics (Radio Aids & Instrumentation), Aviation Meteorology, Technical General and Air Regulations. The cadets are also taught as per of syllabus of B. Sc. (Aviation) through Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU). After completion of Ground Training Course, cadets are routed to Flight Operations for Simulator and Flying Training..

Training

Training is imparted by a team of highly qualified and dedicated instructors comprising Chief Ground Instructor (CGI) and other specialist faculty members. A total of minimum 480 hours of syllabus is covered for each course to bring the cadets to ATPL level in Ground Subjects. A team of Instructors for the Ground Subject is as follows:
